Your Role:
Bring innovative electrical systems to life as a Panel Builder! In this hands-on role, you’ll:
- Fit motor starters, circuit breakers, and control devices into custom made panels and switchboards
- Wire PLCs and advanced electrical equipment with precision
- Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure top performance
- Keep the workshop sharp and efficient
- Support shipping, receiving, and shop documentation to keep on schedule

Qualifications and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Use of standard panel shop hand and power tools
- Relevant work experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience That Will Put You Ahead:
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Ability to detail electrical systems and components from engineering sketches
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Registered apprentice or licensed electrician
- Experience building electrical panels
- Experience with industrial control systems
- Experience with marine control systems would be
- Forklift certification
- 3D drafting
Licences:
- Valid driver’s licence (G2 or G)
